Casers Group celebrates 30th anniversary with clients, partners

Still in the euphoria of its 30th anniversary celebrations, Nigeria’s most awarded creative unit, Casers Group, hosted clients, partners, industry players and associates to a grand dinner and exhibition in Lagos.

Speaking on the growth and successes of the group, Chairman, Enyi Odigbo, lauded clients and partners for contributing immensely to the remarkable feat.

He said: “We are here to celebrate 30 years of influencing choices. This remarkable journey has been made possible by brands, businesses, family and friends. With your support, we’ve influenced thousands of choices”.

In the first 30 years of its existence, Casers Group has grown to become one of Africa’s leading Integrated Marketing Communication companies with business interests in Nigeria, Benin, Cameroun, Congo Brazaville, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry and Liberia. The group has benefited immensely from affiliations and relationships with DDB Worldwide and OMNICOM Group.

Odigbo added that the group is prepared for the future that will be shaped by technology and creative talents.

Winners in the Influence Contest, a platform used to elicit creative descriptions of the term, Influence in Audio, Visual Arts, Creative Writing and others were also honoured and rewarded with cash prizes at the event.

Twelve winners, three for each category, selected carefully by the contest’s judges- Babatunde Sule, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Michael Epacka and Osa Okunkpolor were unveiled and presented with cash prizes at the event.

Overall winners in each category got $1500, 1st and 2nd runners-up got $1000 and $500 respectively. The winners include: Visual Art- Akinwale Muse (1st), Ifeoma Okonma (2nd), Lekan Akinyele (3rd), Creative Writing- Laide Olabode (1st), Jennifer Udechukwu (2nd), Dozie Ikwuegbu (3rd).

Other winners are: Audio- Joel Godfrey (1st), Aimien Evbodaghe (2nd), Chinedu Ngige (3rd); Others- Kehinde Badejo (1st), Selorm Dagoe(2nd) and Ayo Ishola (3rd).

Thirty youths, comprising a few of the finalists selected from the Contest, will also participate in the maiden edition of the Creative Youth Challenge (CYC) boot camp scheduled for January, 2018. The top three winners will be rewarded with scholarships to study creative courses at universities within and outside Nigeria.

The Casers group consist of Magenta, a brand management and design company, Capital Media Limited, a media independent company, Activ8, a leading events and activation company, Nexus, an out of home company, DDB Lagos, a mega creative power house and BBDO, a global creative force’’.
