Poor representation blamed for nation’s woes

Poor representation has been identified as the cause of infrastructural decay and poverty in Nigeria. And unless it is nipped in the bud, unrest and social vices may not end.

In a statement, the CEO, KLM Communications, Mr. Kola Lameed Muyindeen, said though federal and state governments have been making strides since the country’s return to democracy, poor representation of the people remains a problem that must be urgently addressed.

Muyindeen, from Ado-Odo in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Council Area, Ogun State, is aspiring for the Ado-Odo-Igbesa constituency in the State House of Assembly. He attributed some of the problems faced by citizens to leadership failure. He also noted that bad roads are a major challenge faced by the people of Ado-Odo/Igbesa, promising to take appropriate action if he is elected in 2019.
