The crisis rocking the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) was yesterday resolved following a peace pact reached by all aggrieved parties to ensure unity and peaceful transition in the body.
Chairman, Board of Trustees, NYCN, Makole Omo Azugbene, who brokered the peace meeting, tasked the National Transition Committee (NTC) to reconcile all aggrieved parties with a view of fostering peace, progress and unity in the council.
He gave the charge while inaugurating the NTC at the national stakeholders emergency meeting for state chairmen held in Benin City, Edo State.Azugbene said the committee has six months to perfect its functions of reconciling the aggrieved parties and conduct election into the executive council as well as congress.
