God’s Kingdom Society urges women to live godly lives

The Chairperson of God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) Women Fellowship, Mrs. Helen Bazunu, has urged women to continue to spread the virtues of honesty, faith, patience and love in their communities.

She gave the charge at GKS’s Annual Feast of Tabernacles in Warri, Delta State at the programme tagged: Towards God’s Perfect Government.

“The woman is the state of the universe. She is Mother Nature. She holds a position of authority,” she said.

She added that families, Churches and communities are usually torn apart when women display attitudes unbecoming of virtuous women, noting that the world is in search of virtuous women who will live a life of faith, hope, love and make peace-building and mediation their watchword.

Bazunu advised women to live their lives in accordance with the instructions of Jesus Christ, adding that habits such tale-bearing, gossiping, rebellion, disobedience and ungodly dressing destroy homes, family and Church, which should be avoided.

She cited the popular maxim: Cleanliness is next to godliness, insisting that God hates uncleanliness and his children must follow His steps by ensuring that they live in a clean environment at all times.

Bazunu also lamented the increasing cases of cancer among women, stressing that women must maintain a healthy lifestyle and avoid the use of harmful creams, artificial eye lids and make ups that are injurious to health.
