Donation of products and cash to orphans, patients, internally-displaced persons and prison inmates in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Maiduguri and Enugu formed the hallmark of activities by John Holt Plc to mark its 120 years of existence.

The conglomerate described the gesture as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. During his visit to inmates of Ikoyi Prisons, Group Managing Director, Dr. Christopher Ezeh, said John Holt Plc would continue to support good causes in the society, especially those that have a direct impact on human development.

The administrators of the homes, hospitals and prison commended the company for its humanitarian gesture, while also asking for more support from the government, individuals and other corporate organisations.
