Kebbi flags off measles vaccination campaign

Kebbi State Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu yesterday flagged off this year’s measles vaccination campaign.

At the ceremony in Bagudu Council, the governor, accompanied by his wife, Dr. Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu, a paediatric consultant, Bagudu said his mission is to delivery the dividend of democracy to the people, adding that a lot have been done in health sector.

He explained that free medical outreach, which is one of its cardinal projects, has recorded tremendous achievements, as a lot of people have been diagnosed and operated by visiting American doctors.

In her remark, Mrs. Bagudu, commended her husband for supporting the health sector in the state and rescue many lives.

She explained that the flag off campaign is another achievement in the state, urging the people to support the present administration in to ensure more development.

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Hajiya Halima Boyi, express satisfaction with the level of development in the health sector and urged the people to continue to pray the this present administration for giving a sense of belonging to health institutions in the state.
