Rivers United’s Ovoke wants immediate response against Wikki
After earning a point at ABS to attain a three-match unbeaten run, Rivers United returned home to suffer their first home defeat in domestic campaign this term against the Akure side.
“We have to bounce back and restore confidence in the team. Wednesday’s defeat will boost our quest for victory to move out of our present position.
“The defeat is now in the past as we look forward with optimism. We are ready to claim maximum points,” Ovoke assured.
Interestingly, Rivers United have six extra points to fight for and turn their fortunes around as the busy Caf Confederation Cup calendar has ensured they have two outstanding matches to play against Akwa United and Kano Pillars, respectively.
