Similarly, a senior international officer of the university, Fahd Asif said Dundee provides an avenue for students to have a one on-one discussion with their teachers unlike many other institutions where students cannot easily approach their lecturers.

Besides, he added that entrepreneurial activities are encouraged among the students to boost their employment opportunities. He said: “ Most of our international students are already clear of what they want to do. When they come to study, they get lots of opportunity to explore different things.

“We have programs for entrepreneurial development where students form groups to discuss real time problems and business ideas.“There is also what we call personal development program, the students during the course of their degree log in the activities they did outside the classroom and all this skills are marked into the United Kingdom job market.

“Our students are pushed to think outside the four corners of the classroom at the very early stage, so when they join the labour market, not only will they present their certificate but things that will distinguish them from the rest of the crowd,” he added.
