NACCIMA unveils foundation of N1.5b trade promotion centre

The National Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has unveiled the foundation of a N1.5 billion trade and investment promotion centre in Abuja.

When completed, it would serve as a hub for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to boost their businesses and seek government intervention.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Bello at the unveiling yesterday charged the association to support efforts by the Federal Government to revive the economy.

He pledged government’s continued support to the sector through provision of infrastructures and other incentives to boost production.

The National President of NACCIMA, Dr. Bassey Edem, urged the government to ensure early passage of the 2017 appropriation bill to encourage foreign direct investments into the country.
